ATLANTA- Last night, I attended TV One, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Hip Hop Weekly’s red carpet premiere of the new sitcom, “Here We Go Again” at Boogalou Restaurant & Lounge in Atlanta.

Stars like LeToya Luckett, the incomparable Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Hollywood’s young starlet Kyndall Ferguson were in appearance and graced the red carpet, greeting fans and attendees.

The half hour sitcom details the unexpected journey of three generations of Walker women whose lives have been once again turned upside down after a series of life events.

The new comedy follows Maddy (LeToya Luckett), a single mother and successful lawyer who is convinced there is a “Walkers Women’s Curse,” after being born to her mother, Loretta (Wendy Raquel Robinson), at the age of 16, and having a child, Shante (Kyndall Ferguson), herself at the same age.

Throughout the show, Maddy refuses to let her daughter, Shante, who is now approaching her 16th birthday, become the next in line. On the night of Shante’s birthday, old feelings resurfaces for her high school sweetheart and Shante’s dad Victor (Andra Fuller). In this moment of weakness, the two have one more steamy night which gets Maddy pregnant again by Victor, at the age of 32.  Check out the trailer below:

Unfortunately, we all know that many woman may have or will fall victim to the “Walkers’ Women Curse” (the curse of generations of offspring having children at a young age). Maddy, like many mothers, tries everything in her power to break the generational curse. LeToya Luckett states, “This show depicts the real deal of things going on in today’s society… It’s real and that’s what I really love about the show.”

From viewing the sneak peak of “Here We Go Again,” it seems there are many life lessons that can be learned from this multi-generational comedy, especially with Valentine’s Day around the corner. Kyndall Ferguson, states, “I want to represent for other young women who go through this situation. Many young woman can watch this show and get tips”.

Make sure to tune in to the new hit series which airs tonight at 8PM ET/PT on TV One.
